Tradition is a daughter of Mittelfrüh and was bred in Huell. This variety is noted for its fine aroma and bitterness.
Tradition is characterised even in poor years by good steady yields and is particularly resistant to wilt and downy
mildew. It is comparable to Hallertauer Mittelfrüh and is distinguished by its good yields.
Most suitable for German style beers: Munich lager, Oktoberfest, Bock, Weissbier, Kolsch, Altbier and Pilsner of course.
Alpha acids: 4 - 7%
Beta acids: 3 - 6%
Total oil: 0,5 - 1 ml/100g
